Prior to your CBT course with RIDE Motorbike Training School you will need:

​

To hold a valid UK licence with the correct entitlements.

​

You will need to provide both the last eight digits of your Drivers Licence Number & verification code obtained via the Gov.UK website.

(RIDE Motorbike Training School will provide you with a link to this if needed)

​

Be able to read with or without glasses a number plate at a distance of 20 and 20.5 metres depending on the style of number plate.

​

Have a good understanding of the Highway Code & can identify UK road signs.

​

Can understand and converse in basic English without an interpreter.

​

Be able to competently ride a bicycle without stabilisers.

​

      

​

On successful completion of your course and all its elements you will receive a CBT certificate(DL196)

​

Leave feeling confident that you can control your new moped/motorbike.

 

Have the piece of mind that you have achieved a safe standard of riding. 

​

Be given advice & guidance on what to do next if you need further training to meet the required standard.

​

During your CBT course with RIDE Motorbike Training School. You will need to complete all elements of the course to a safe standard to achieve the CBT certificate.

​

If a learner is deemed to be a danger to themselves or others. RIDE Motorbike Training School and it's Instructors have the right to terminate the course at any stage.

​

All learners are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and to not:

​

Cause distress either verbally or physically to another learner or instructor of RIDE Motorbike Training School. This may lead to their course being terminated and the loss of their course fee.

​

Intentionally damage any equipment loaned to them by RIDE Motorbike Training School.

​

Intentionally cause damage to any facility or training area being used to carry out their course.

​

Any intentional damage as mentioned above will incur a cost to replace or make good.
